- don't worry about how other people are studying. we are unique in every way, including how we learn. what your best girlfriend is doing might not be best for you.
- spread your work out over a couple of days instead of cramming the night before to reduce the chances of having a meltdown.
- keep a positive attitude while you study-- play feel good music in the background, take short breaks to talk to an uplifting person in your life, reward yourself with candy every now and then, scribble inspiring notes on your books [i.e., i'm gonna ace this test].
- get a good night's rest before the exam-- at least 8 hours of sleep.
- skim through the test before you begin so you will know how to pace yourself and how much time you should spend on each question.
- if you find yourself getting nervous during the test, close your eyes and take 3 deep breaths, and keep it movin. you got this.

chillin out, maxin & relaxin all cool: reducing stress before a test
high school is stressful. on top of sports, clubs, friends, and looking cute, you have to worry about those pesky grades. but stress isn't good for our pretty brown skin. so let's think of a few ways to chill out before a test so you can keep your skin pretty and perform well on your exam.
