alright girls, we're at that age where we want to start wearing make-up, and that's cool, but we want to make sure we do it right. clown faces are not hot. black girls have beautiful skin, our complexion, our tone, our texture, so we don't want to cover it up too much. but sometimes
we want to add a little somethin to be fancy. remember less is more! check out ms. safiya's video tutorial on how to keep a fresh face below:you don't necessarily have to use all of the same products and tools that are shown in the video. just stick with a good moisturizer [aveeno positively radiant works wonders for my face, especially in the winter], and the rest will take care of itself.
now, ms. safiya isn't scared of a little color [peep her nails] and you shouldn't be either. but let's start with the basics for now, and when prom comes around we'll talk about how to beat your face into colorful fierceness.
[brenda michelle . extra] ms. safiya's hair is everything. stay tuned for more about how and why her hair is so fabulous. or you can visit her youtube channel which features more hair and make-up tutorials just for black girls at youtube.com/br0nzeqt !
